Meadowmont Community Association (MCA)

The Meadowmont Community Association (MCA), guided by its Board of Directors and full-time Community Manager, works to preserve and enhance the quality of our community, its beauty and vitality, and property value for homeowners. With a focus on maintaining common areas and upholding community standards, MCA ensures that the neighborhood remains well-managed and cohesive. Numerous family-friendly events are held each year, bringing residents together in a warm and welcoming environment.

One of Meadowmont’s most cherished landmarks is the iconic shagbark hickory tree, lovingly known as “Momma.” She towers above all the other trees in Meadowmont and is featured prominently on the Meadowmont logo. Momma received the mayor’s first-ever Tree of the Year award in 2020. Mayor Pam Hemminger noted that the judging panel appreciated the fact that shagbark hickories are important to our Piedmont region and noted that many of the tree’s offspring have been transplanted to other locations within Meadowmont.
